Ranvir Choudhury (Vinod Khanna), a powerful and wealthy businessman, is almost worshipped by the people who surround him. His daughter Kiran (Diya Mirza) falls in love with a lower middle class boy, Suraj Saxena (Arjun Rampal), the son of an honest but poor government servant (Om Puri). Ranvir is furious and goes all out to destroy the relationship. But he hasn’t counted on the overwhelming power of love…. A dramatic love story, directed by debutante director Ashu Trikha, a very successful ad filmmaker, the film has some great music composed by Aadesh Srivastava. Vashu Bhagnani, who has produced the film, is gaining a reputation for making efficient quickies with newcomers. His son Jackie makes his debut as executive producer in this film.
