When the Hero of Dwapar Yug, Bhagwan Sri Krishna killed the evil Kans, Jerasangh, the King of Magdha, sought revenge. 'Dwarka Dheesh' Shri Krishna established the new township of Dwarka and both Rukamani and Satyabhama looked upon Shri Krishna as their husband. To thwart the evil Shishupal, Shri Krishna carried Rukmani away from the swayamvar organised by her brother Rukmi. During the severe famine in Brij, Shri Krishna got the Simantak Mani (Gold raining jewel given as a boon by the Sun God) from Satyajeet and his brother Prasen, who gets killed by Lion Jamvant. Because of the Mani there was a battle between Sri Krishna and Lion Jamvant. Seeing the ill-omen, Rukmani and Satyabama worshipped Sri Ganesh.
